Journal of Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Science
The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Science is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to Psychology and cognitive science. The publication offers a medium for addressing a cognitive science topic or subfield in greater depth, scope, and hopefully from a wider variety of perspectives than stand-alone articles normally do. In addition to exploring clinical, medical, and social aspects of psychological disorders, it focuses on cognitive science research as well. It is well circulated among a variety of professionals including Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychosocial Workers, and others involved in mental health.
We encourage the submission of evidence-based research, original papers, case reports, communications, editorials, and systematic reviews from a multidisciplinary team in addition to medical professionals. The submitted manuscripts will go through a fair peer review process. Our mission is to make top-notch research freely available to educators, students, and health professionals across a number of disciplines, with a focus on the fields of psychology and neuroscience.
- H-index- 2
- Average acceptance to publication time (5-7 days)
- Average article processing time (30-45 days)
The double-blind peer review procedure is used by the journal. Peer review is the process used to assess a paper's quality before to publication. In order to assist editors in determining whether an article should be published in a journal, independent academics with expertise in the relevant topic area evaluate submitted articles for originality, validity, and significance. The editorial office examines every manuscript for first quality control before sending it out for external peer review. More than 20 researchers and subject-matter experts from prestigious institutions throughout the world make up our editorial board, supporting the rigorous peer review process. Topic suggestions and individual contributions to them are thoroughly examined in terms of their quality, relevance, and diversity.

H-index: Articles published in Journal of Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Science have been cited by esteemed scholars and scientists all around the world. Journal of Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Science has got h-index 2, which means every article in Journal of Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Science has got 2 average citations.
Journal Highlights:
Dementia: The loss of cognitive abilities, such as thinking, remembering, and reasoning, to the point where it affects a person's day-to-day functioning is known as dementia. Some dementia patients struggle to control their emotions, and their personalities may shift.
Psychotherapy: Any method of treatment for psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues in which a trained individual develops a relationship with one or more patients with the goal of modifying or eradicating current symptoms and fostering personality growth is known as psychotherapy, often known as counselling.
Depression: Major depressive disorder, sometimes known as depression, is a severe medical disease that frequently has an impact on a person's feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Thankfully, it can also be cured. Depression might manifest as sadness or a loss of interest in prior pastimes. Your performance at work and at home may suffer, and it may also lead to a number of mental and physical problems.
Neurotransmitters: The chemical messengers in our body are called neurotransmitters. They transmit information from one nerve cell to the following neuron, muscle, or gland cell across a distance. These signals enable us to move our limbs, experience sensations, maintain heartbeat, as well as receive and process all the information our bodies receive from other internal body components and our environment.
Classical conditioning: An initially neutral stimulus is matched with an unconditioned stimulus in a process known as classical conditioning. The conditioned stimulus then starts to trigger a conditioned response. Nowadays, classical conditioning is regarded as significant in the research of simple associative learning as well as behavioral phenomena. very similar to Pavlovian conditioning describes the process of learning by association between stimuli.
Behaviorism: All behaviors are taught through interactions with the environment through a process called conditioning, according to behaviorism, commonly referred to as behavioral psychology.
Heuristics: Heuristics are cognitive (or thinking) processes that simplify complex problems into solutions that follow a set of predetermined rules, which speeds up decision-making. Although various methods of information processing are frequently beneficial, if they are applied improperly, errors may occur. Two heuristics that are frequently employed are the availability heuristic and the representativeness heuristic.
Perception: Perception is the sensory perception of the world. It requires both recognizing and reacting to environmental cues. Through the perceptual process, we get knowledge of the features and elements of the environment that are crucial to our survival. Perception not only affects how we perceive the world, but it also gives us the ability to respond to it.
